Clear mucous discharge at 36 weeks pregnant?

My doctor can't get back to me for a couple days so I'm asking on here. I'm 36 weeks & 4 days pregnant and this morning when I went to the bathroom there was this huge glob of clear, odorless, completely colorless, stringy, goopy discharge that came out when I wiped. I'm pretty sure it's normal since it's clear and everything but I was wondering generally what this means. Will the baby to coming sooner like a couple weeks early? Or is this just a normal thing that happens around this point in the pregnancy? Cause I am sooo okay with him coming early, haha.
