Im 2cm Dilated and had a blood show but Only light contractions, How long After did Labor start for you...?

Yesterday I came from visiting the OB/GYN doctor and while i was there he checked me to see how dilated i was he told me i was 2cm dilated, and when i returned home from the doctors about a few hours later I had a bloody show and i could understand a lil bit of blood from the pelvic exam but I Had Globs Of it!!! But Only light contractions tho, could labor be soon???? I'm already 40 weeks....
