Atheists, does it make you laugh when Creationists think evolution states we originated from a "glob of goo"?

Actually, although the theory of evolution doesn't state it directly (it just provides the mechanism for going from goo to fish to ape to full human), the general scientific consensus is more or less that (i.e. we all came from a single cell many millions of years ago).
