Apple snail eggs don't look like what i was expecting?

the eggs are laid underneath the lid. i was expecting them to be pinkish and clear globs of jelly, but the cluster resembles a piece of baby corn. they are solid yellowish white color and don't look jelly-ish at all. is something wrong with them. also i l
