33 weeks and 5d preg ?

Im almost 34 weeks preg with my first baby and for the last 2 days ive been having a clear mucouse glob come out idk if it could be the mucus plug their is no blood in it does if always have to have blood in it or could it he discharge. It never happen likr this before although a month ago i had a light greenish glob snot come out i told my doc didnt seem to care mucj but this time its was clear how soon after u loose thw mucus plug do u start labor i have also been crampy like menstrual cramps why would i be having menstrual cramps it dont seem like contractions bit idk any help please
